Empower Fund exists to address this disconnect. Independent research shows that it begins with personal and trusted relationships. Whether it’s a neighbor talking to a neighbor or a parent sharing resources with other families, our approach centers on building relational infrastructure that is sustained, effective and resilient.

At the center of Empower Fund’s model are Community Mobilizers — local residents who use their personal networks to share information and connect people to opportunities for action. Empower provides training, tools, and small stipends that make it possible for them to dedicate time to strengthening their communities.
